On May 28, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard signed a newbuilding contract for the construction of two 64,000dwt bulker with Baoyuan International .
The 64,000dwt bulker is the “Dolphin 64” type designed by SDARI, a new generation of eco-friendly, energy-saving and safe Handmax bulker. The new design can reduce energy consumption while upgrade the loading capacity.
It is reported CSSC Chengxi Shipyard has successfully signed a newbuilding contract for the construction of four 64,000dwt bulkers with Hong Kong’s Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings on April 8th and won another contract for two 38,800 DWT bulk carriers from CSSC Shipping (HK) Co., Ltd. Chengxi has got new orders for 13 vessel since the beginning of this year.
