Indian ship-owner Great Eastern Shipping said it may acquire more bulkers in the future if the bulk cargo transportation market has good performance, said a domestic news report, citing the company's CFO G Shivakumar.
It is reported that the Indian company has acquired a 2006-built 52,500 DWT Supramax bulker recently. Besides, the ship-owner placed orders for 5 bulk carriers and 1 oil product carrier with Chinese and Japanese shipyards.
