Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry and Mexico-based Vulica Shipping Limited have signed shipbuilding contracts for two 68,000dwt self-unloading Panamax bulkers, according to the Nantong-based shipbuilder.

The vessels are designed by Deltamarin with a length of 229 meters and a guaranteed speed not less than 13.5 knots.

The two bulk carriers will be delivered before July 2017.

Hantong had previously built and delivered two 55,000dwt bulk carriers for Vulica Shipping in 2012.
