Chinese shipowner U-Ming Marine Transport Corporation ordered two new 81,500dwt Panamax bulk carriers at Japan-based yard Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., according to a domestic shipping news portal.
Upbeat on the future of the shipping industry, U-Ming is going ahead with its fleet renewal and expansion plan.
U-Ming took delivery of a 188,000dwt bulk carrier newbuilding "Cape Success" two months ago, which were built by compatriot Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding.
