China's SINOTRANS&CSC Qingshan Shipyard delivered a 64,000dwt bulk carrier named "ILSABE OLDENDORFF" to German shipowner Oldendorff Carriers, its new client, on March 30, reported a domestic shipping news portal.
The vessel measures 199.9m in length overall, 32.26m in breadth moulded, and 18.5m in depth moulded, with the design draft of 11.3m and the service speed of 14.4 knots.
The Chinese shipyard signed a newbuild contract with Oldendorff Carriers for the construction of six 64,000dwt bulk carriers. Oldendorff Carriers is the first one in the series.
All the remaining five bulkers are expected to be delivered in early 2017, according to the report.
