Tanker Sale: BP to Sell Aframax Pair

British multinational oil and gas company British Petroleum (BP) has recently entered into an agreement to sell two of its Aframax tankers to a Greek shipowner, but the buyer has not been disclosed, showed VesselsValue data.
The two ships are 2003-built British Merlin and 2004-built British Curlew. The transaction prices are US$13.5m and US$15m, respectively.
The 114,800dwt tankers were constructed by South Korea's shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries. They have a capacity of 121,270 m3 each.
