Greek owner and operator DryShips has handed over 76,600dwt bulk carrier M/V Sorren (renamed Despina D), wrapping up the sale of five ships. The buyer has remained unveiled.

The tranction price of the vessel stands at US$6.7m. It was built at Japanese yard Imabari in 2004.

The bulker measures 225 meters in length and 32.3 meters in width.

DryShips said on Oct. 31 it sold five of its Panamax bulk carriers for a total of US$29.4m.
